Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming epic, Love & War, is shaping up to be a cinematic spectacle. As per reports from OTTplay, the duo has been filming intense emotional scenes during overnight schedules that stretch from six in the evening, to the early hours of the day. These sequences, rich in dialogue and emotion, are being shot against the backdrop of the night to capture the desired mood and depth.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali believes that the nighttime setting adds a poetic quality to these emotionally-charged pivotal scenes. The commitment of the actors is evident as they navigate these demanding shoots, aiming to bring authenticity to their performances.

Despite rumours suggesting potential delays, the production is on track for a March 2026 release. The team plans to wrap up the current night shoots soon and transition to indoor sequences. Additionally, he is set to star in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lahore 1947, an upcoming Hindi-language period action film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan. Set against the backdrop of the partition of India in 1947, the film stars Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, with music composed by A. R. Rahman.
